Associated Builders & Contractors Apprenticeship Program

The key elements to this scholarship are:

  • Be at least 18 years old at the time of employment,
  • at least a 2.0 overall GPA in ALL high schools and courses,
  • Driver's License and reliable transportation,
  • Be able to legally work in the United States,
  • and, for Electrical Trade only, proof of completion of Algebra or equivalent with a grade of "C" or better.

You will be required to:

  • Pass a basic written and math test (TABE),
  • Be interviewed by the apprenticeship committee,
  • Successfully complete a drug screening test,
  • Pass color vision screening for the electrical and EST trades.

All CTE and other elective classes are encouraged to be taken by all students that have met the pre-requisite requirements.  No Trade Tech Staff member will council or talk a student out of a class on the basis of race, color, ethnic group identification, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or mental of physical disability.
