Associated Builders & Contractors Apprenticeship Program

The key elements to this scholarship are:

Be at least 18 years old at the time of employment,
at least a 2.0 overall GPA in ALL high schools and courses,
Driver's License and reliable transportation,
Be able to legally work in the United States,
and, for Electrical Trade only, proof of completion of Algebra or equivalent with a grade of "C" or better.

You will be required to:

Pass a basic written and math test (TABE),
Be interviewed by the apprenticeship committee,
Successfully complete a drug screening test,
Pass color vision screening for the electrical and EST trades.

All CTE and other elective classes are encouraged to be taken by all students that have met the pre-requisite requirements. No Trade Tech Staff member will council or talk a student out of a class on the basis of race, color, ethnic group identification, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or mental of physical disability.
