Principal's Message

Spring 2024

As we close out the final quarter of the 23-24 school year, we are looking forward to the celebrations that come with wrapping up another successful school year. A highlight on our calendar is the Night of Excellence on April 25th when our students will be presenting their annual projects. This year every Trade Tech student is tackling a challenge of sustainability within a field of their choosing. We can't wait to show off the creative innovations they've developed! The knowledge and skills acquired throughout this project are applicable to the career pathways they are pursuing, because for us, it's all about preparing for life after high school. The public is welcome to join us for this event, from 5:30-7:00.

Speaking of life after high school, we know the economic context of living in North County is constantly evolving. We are always seeking updated ways to prepare our students for new and different future opportunities. We are excited to share that we will be launching pathways in Biotechnology and Education in the 24-25 school year. These additions to our already existing CTE pathways will provide students new, industry-relevant options.

Know someone who might benefit from joining our learning community? Now is the time to tour and apply! Whether it's a current 8th grader who would enjoy small class sizes and hands-on learning for their 9th grade year, or a current high school student who needs a fresh start, we would love to show you around and share more about our unique program. You can schedule a private tour by reaching out to our Office Manager, Livi Castillo, at [email protected]. Or, give us a call at 760-598-0782.

We can't wait to welcome you to Trade Tech!

Sincerely,

Chloe Medina
