Outdoor Club

The Outdoor Club's mission is to have students gain an appreciation for outdoor recreational activities.  In addition, members will also learn to respect what nature has to offer as well as how we can minimize our presence when in natural environments.  This will be done by focusing on the seven "Leave no Trace" principles.  Club members will enjoy various hikes and outings to different locations ranging from a rock climbing gym to Mt. Woodson.
9/9/19 We will have a quick meeting during lunch at 11:50 to explain what the outdoor club is about.  The meeting will be held in Mr. Ibave's room. Our first hike of the year will be on Friday, Setpember 27th.  Please have your permission slips turned in by 9/25 if you are interested in attending.  You can turn in your permission slips to Mr. Ibave, Mr. Thiele, or Ms. Merry.  Anyone is welcome!  We will be leaving after school and hiking in the Calavera Preserve area.  The hike is an easy one, but you still need to bring water, and some shoes with good traction.
9/27/19-First hike will be at Calavera Preserve.  It will be on 9/27/19.  See Mr. Ibave, Mr. Thiele, or Ms. Merry for a permission slip.  Or click the link and print it at home.
