There are two (2) ways to complete the vocabulary for Module 10. One way is to complete the Module 10 Vocabulary Practice in the McGraw Hill website (linked below). The other is to complete a "vocabulary log" in Google Doc that you submit by "sharing" with me and granting me editing privileges at [email protected]. The terms from Module are the "bulleted" words listed in the attached pdf file, so all you need to do is copy the terms into your Google Doc, then properly define them in your own words. So, choose either the Vocabulary Practice or the "vocabulary log" to complete this assignment. Use the "flash cards" enabled in each of the Module 10 Lessons to get the definitions or use the Multilingual Glossary listed as an assignment in the McGraw Hill (and linked in stream for this Google Classroom)

This is the Unit 2 Test and is worth up to 92 points in the McGraw Hill, but is a 50 point maximum in the Synergy gradebook. You may earn one (1) bonus point for every 10 points earned above 50, and you will receive five (5) bonus points if you score above 90 points. I have included a link to a pdf version of the Unit 2 Test below. I have also "assigned" the SmartBooks for Modules 5, 6, and 7 that you can use to review and study, but they will not impact your grade if you do not do them. I highly recommend completing the relevant vocabulary assignments prior to beginning this Unit 2 Test.
Due:
In addition to the link that takes you to the online version of the assessment I have also included a link to the pdf version of the Module 8 Assessment. I have also included some links to some YouTube videos that I think you may find helpful.

I like to start every year reviewing our understanding of the nature of science and the Scientific Method; to that end, please review the linked videos (starting with "The Nature of Science") as soon as possible (hopefully before our first class Zoom meeting). However, prior to that, please check your schedule to confirm what days and times we will be "Zooming" the class. I will walk everyone through getting hooked up with the my.mheducation.com website (link below) during the first class meeting, which will include getting you the class code. McGraw Hill, the textbook publisher, also has a smartphone app that you can use to access the textbook when you are set-up with the site. It is the Readanywhere App available for free download from Google and Apple stores, but will not substitute for a computer or a chromebook.
