Digital Media 2 (S1)-Advanced Assignments

This project is built by Adobe InDesign and will be graded as the final project for the semester. It will have 20% impact on your final grade. I highly recommend you take time and apply details. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Introduction to Graphic Design: Please watch the two videos below and answer the associated questions to the best of your ability. Turn in the assessment and earn full credit. (The grade is only for scaling your own ability)
We will start working of InDesign software for next three weeks.

This project is designed to practice preparing Fillable PDF forms in Adobe Acrobat Pro. Once lectured is provided, you will be asked to create this fillable form and submit as an interactive file for grading. Please watch the video below and get familiar with the "Prepare Form" environment. This project is passed due. Turn it in as soon as possible. Grades will be posted on MOnday morning.

You have your laptop by now! Open Creative Cloud and install Acrobat DC; be patient since this might take a while. Once You have the Acrobat DC, you will be able to edit the attached pdf file.
1. Download the PDF file on your laptop
2. Watch the video
3. Open the PDF file with Acrobat DC Pro
4. Edit the content of the file and format the text as best as you can.
Tip: You will mostly edit fonts by size, type and color. Make headlines slightly different than the associated text.

Hi all,
As you already know, we will get to work with Creative Cloud this week. I want to make sure everyone is on board with it.
Once at school, parents must fill out a form to check out a laptop.
Important: One you have your laptop, make sure you log in and log out twice while at school. This will create your personal profile in the server so that you can use it out of campus. Without logging in at school, you will not be able to use the laptops.

Project:
We will start working with Adobe Creative Cloud soon.
As a pretend web designer/blogger, you are required to discover the following site and write about it. Watch the video first. You will design a website applying your own taste and creativity providing the following material:
The questions to answer are:
• What is Adobe Creative Cloud?
• Name three adobe applications that are used throughout the world
o Explain what they are used for.
• Are there any competitors in the same market?
• Include three sectors that utilize Creative Cloud.
• What are the costs associated with this package?
• Write your personal opinion about this software package.

Once finished, email your website to [email protected] for grading. This project will have 25% effect on your grade.

Decide a topic with proper site name
Add a Menu section
Title with background image (must be relevant to the site)
Three links to other relevant sites
2nd page with contact information
Link to your own YouTube Channel (Must use YouTube Logo)
Add a map of the area
Add a job application (Use a google form link you have previously created)
Publish and share the link with me for grading

Improving your web page is today's work. Make sure you have shared your site with me so that I can review them before our next class meeting.

We are starting to create Google sites. You may have already made some sites in the past. If so, this would be very easy assignment for you.
Watch the video and do your best to create a website and share its link with me through an email. This is a homework assignment with full credit for turning it in.

Create a Google form as a quiz, apply points and response validation to each question. Required number of questions is 10.

You are asked to use Google form to create a job application. Use the attached form as reference. The overall quality ad options usage will be graded.

After watching the YouTube Video from last weeks assignment, you are now ready to create your own survey form. There is a question bank below. Pick only five questions of your choice and send the survey to at least 10 people, preferably within our school domain. We will discuss the results and sharing options during the class meeting.

Take this challenge as a Digital Escape Room. Here are the rules:
Do Not share the answers with others, BECAUSE:
There is a Passcode that you need in order to earn your reward!!
The first place: 20%
The second place: 15%
The third place: 10%
The rest will get 5% extra credit if they submit the challenge.
