Physics

Physics is the study of forces and motion.  The course includes problem solving using measured numbers, using significant digits, scientific notation, the metric systems, math with units, and conversions. Students will be applying concepts of position, vectors, velocity, and acceleration using graphs and equations.  Students will be using Newton’s laws of motion, inclined planes, gravity, work, energy and momentum as they become confident in their understanding of this field of science in order to better understand the world around them. Students may develop an interest in a career associated with Physics or a related field.
