Course Description

This class will be a full view of muscular function – how muscles work, how they grow, the nutrition they need to boost growth, how their development can assist fat loss, and how to safely exercise using the proper form and technique. Proper weight training consists of cardiovascular benefits, but its chief goal is to build muscle in a healthy, educated, and safe manner.


Course Goals

Students will be able to create a strength training program for themselves or another individual. They will be able to take fitness goals for strength training and create a plan for an individual person along with a nutritional guideline. Students will also receive a food handlers card.
